First, any student attending the College since 1979 will be able to use the Ozone portal. In the past, once a student left the College they lost access to Ozone after two semesters. Now former students will retain access in perpetuity. This change was implemented to facilitate access to prior student information. Former students are now able to access their unofficial transcripts, financial information, etc. through Ozone. ITS is currently working with various departments to assist former students through the process of accessing their information via the Ozone portal.
Second, all retired employees of the College, as defined by HR, will be retained by our IDM system. Their role with the College will change from an employee to a retiree. Access to files, email, etc. will remain active for any retiree of the College. Many retirees give back to the College on their own time and this addition will help facilitate their efforts. As with any employee, supervisors can still change the access a retiree is or was granted.
