Demo User in Blackboard - Student View

You may have noticed a student named "Demo User" in your gradebook. The user name looks something like this: bb_demo_1300854

This demo user account is generated by the new "Go To Student View" function in Blackboard. Clicking on this button creates a demo student account in your course that you can use to take your tests, submit assignments and view grades and all other parts of your course exactly as a student. Support staff may also use the "Go To Student View" function to better assist a student who calls in for technical support.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the e-Learning Office.
