How can I learn more about New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a required program for all first-time certificate or degree seeking students at Owens Community College who are new to Owens and have less than 9 successfully completed transfer hours. In order to participate in New Student Orientation, you must have completed an Owens Application and completed the COMPASS test or have submitted your ACT scores to Owens.

How to Prepare:

  • Bring a copy of your photo identification.
  • Know your 9-digit Owens College ID number (OCID).
  • Know your Ozone username and password.
