This session will provide information about what it takes to be a police officer as well as expectations and requirements for the Owens Findlay Police Academy. Program chair Mark King, Academy Commander Greg Smith and other Owens representatives (Admissions & Advising) will be available. The Police Academy is set to begin September 3, 2019 and will run through mid-April 2020 with classes taking place in the evening.

Gretchen Fisher, from Woodco Federal Credit Union, will give an overview of the variety of accounts offered at banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions. In addition, she will discuss types of credit, using credit responsibly, credit scores, and identify theft. Free and open to faculty, staff, and students. Food and drinks will be available.
Philip Glesser, from Cincinnati Insurance, will represent the Ohio Insurance Institute and provide informative details regarding automobile and homeowner’s/renter’s insurance.
